Denmark will host Europe’s largest skills competition for the first time when EuroSkills2025 takes place in Herning from September 9th to 13th 2025.
EuroSkills brings together hundreds of young people from 32 European countries. They will compete for the chance to become the best in Europe in their profession.
The event takes place over five days in Scandinavia’s largest exhibition centre, MCH Messecenter Herning. It all begins with an Opening Ceremony, followed by three days of competitions. The event concludes with a Closing Ceremony where awards and medals are presented.
Up to 100.000 visitors are expected to experience the event. They will have the opportunity to try hands-on job-related skills across a huge range of careers at the many ‘Try-a-Skill’ activities. Furthermore tens of thousands of school-aged young people who visit are encouraged to understand more about the many different vocational trainings, and the career opportunities they offer.
EuroSkills2025 is committed to the green agenda and to increase the awareness of the importance of vocational training in the future, in order to help secure the skilled workforce that is necessary to succeed in the green transformation.
